1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Soplis (Marketplace, Used Items, Jobs, Services, Grocery, and any future features like Restaurants, Ride‑hailing, Real Estate, or Parcel delivery), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

2. Our Services

Soplis is a multi‑service platform currently offering: marketplace sales, used item trading, job postings, professional services, and grocery delivery. We are actively researching and building new verticals: restaurant delivery, ride‑hailing, real estate listings, and parcel shipping. These will be added under these same Terms with prior notice.

3. User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. One person may only hold one active account.

4. Prohibited Items & Activities

The following are strictly prohibited across all services: illegal drugs, weapons, stolen goods, counterfeit products, hateful or offensive material, any item or activity violating Portuguese or EU law, and any attempt to bypass our payment system.

5. Fees & Commissions

Marketplace: 10% commission per successful sale.

Used Items: 0% commission (free forever).

Jobs: Free to post and apply.

Services: Free for now (may introduce nominal fee in future).

Grocery: 10% commission.

Future services (Restaurants, Ride‑hailing, etc.): Competitive fees will be announced before launch.

6. Delivery Promise

If a vendor or grocery shop is marked "online" at checkout, delivery is promised within 1‑2 hours (same‑day express). If offline, delivery is next working day. For future restaurant delivery, estimated times will be shown at checkout. Late deliveries may qualify for refunds at Soplis's discretion.

7. Cancellations & Returns

Orders can be cancelled within 10 minutes of placement (before vendor confirmation). Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for eligible items (see our Return Policy). Perishable goods (food, flowers) are non‑returnable.

8. Research & Development

We continuously conduct user research to improve our app. By using Soplis, you agree to anonymous usage analytics. We may contact you occasionally for research surveys (opt‑out available). Your feedback directly shapes features like restaurant delivery, ride‑hailing, and real estate tools.

9. Dispute Resolution

Disputes will first be attempted to be resolved through negotiation and Soplis mediation. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled exclusively in the courts of Lisbon, Portugal, under Portuguese law.

10. Termination & Suspension

Soplis may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or cause harm to other users. You may delete your account at any time via your dashboard or by contacting support.

11. Limitation of Liability

Soplis acts as a facilitator between buyers, vendors, service providers, and delivery partners. We are not liable for direct losses exceeding the value of the transaction in question.
